FABRICIO BARRETO
Ouri is an original film created by director and photographer Fabrício Barreto that uses documentary language and fashion film aesthetics to tell the story of a young black man and his family who left the impoverished countryside of the Brazilian Northeast in search of better living conditions.
Throughout the film, we can see some memories experienced by this young man, which are represented by several characters who at times represent him and at other times represent friends and family.
The topics covered include: racism, xenophobia, representation, emotional health, popular culture and social inclusion.
